ID of Radio Freq Transmitter

Hey, Does any one know who transmits on 453.000?? Some one is broadcasting on this frequency like as if they are a NYC Citywide channel. The only thing is they cover both FD and PD major incidents in the tri-state area. I heard them covering the 5 alarm fire tonight in union city and the white plains fire last night. most times it sounds like they are listening to scanners and other times they have guys on scene giving updates.

Some other incidents have included shootings, stabbings, and Pin jobs.

It looks to be licenced to CITYWIDE RADIO NETWORK.

According to their FCC License they are enganged as a "Non-profit organization that handles press realy activities for a number of news enties in coordination with local pubilc safety officials"

It's one of the buff groups..

They are an independent group with members in the tri-state area. I use to belong to it years ago. If I remember right, they don't really offer it to you unless you are refered by someone. I believe their repeater is on the Alpine Tower in NJ.
