Description Of Incident: Fire in a 2.5-story frame vacant.

1546hrs- 10-75 for fire showing 1st floor of a 2-story frame. L-86 FAST.

1550hrs- Using All-Hands for fire on the 1st floor of a vacant 20X40 frame. (2) L/S/O, D/W/H.

1554hrs- S/C Engine and Truck.

S/C: E-80/L-157

1603hrs- Div. 8 transmitting 2nd Alarm. Multiple Maydays being transmitted. Fire is in the basement and 1st floor.

2nd Alarm: E-154, 160, 158; L-79; B-23 (Safety), 42 (RUL); Safety B/C, Field Com, Tac 2

1604hrs- Brooklyn units responding into Staten Island advising long delays due to heavy traffic. Possibly from the investigation into a prior jumper down.

1607hrs- Div. 8 rpts (4) L/S, (3) in operation. Fire in the basement caused the stairs to the basement to fail. Fire is on the 1st and 2nd floors. Co's having difficulty accessing the building. All Maydays have been secured with (1) firefighter being treated for minor injuries. Co's will likely be going to an exterior operation.

1625hrs- Div. 8 rpts fire K/D. Searches in the basement will be delayed due to 'maze-like' conditions.
