Private "Ambulance Driver" Charged With DWI

While watching the Today Show this morning, I saw along the bottom ticker that a "ambulance driver" from a private company struck and killed a pedestrian along 1st Ave. in Manhattan. The driver of the ambulance was charged with DWI.

Anyone have further info, can't find anything on the web.

It was a MedicalExpress AmbuLETTE, not an ambulance. It's disturbing how often the news organizations get the lance/lette thing wrong.
