Pardon For Two Jailed Border Patrol Agents

3 posts in this topic

On the news today there is a petition heading to the White House to grant a pardon for the two border patrol agents who are serving time for shooting a fleeing drug dealer. The mope was not killed but wounded and he was granted immunity from prosecution for his testimony. I know the consensus was the mope was unarmed and the agents violated protocol but I also feel the agents were trying to stop a person who will no doubt try to sell dope to our kids and I feel they were doing thier jobs. At the very least if they were guilty of any protocol violations losing thier jobs should of been the only thing that they were dealt.

Now you have two law enforcement officers doing time for trying to stop a criminal who also crossed our border illegaly to do more illeglal activity and harm our kids. I hope George Bush grants them the pardon. With all the others that have been let out of jail this should be a no-brainer.

The guy WAS trying to smuggle in dope AND he LIED in his testimony. Heard all that on Fox News this past Friday. I think those two guys are serving like, combined, 21 man years. They should release the two agents and hang that Asst. US Attorney out to dry and throw the dope pusher in jail. You know there is somthing seriously wrong with your country when people start giving hustlers the benefit of the doubt.

Just some details:

Davila was trying to smuggle in 750 pounds of dope - thats roughly a 1 million dollar street value.

Davila asserted he was an small-time drug dealer, but the Feds have records of him making large volume deposits to safe houses as far back as 05.

It should be a no-brainer and hopefully President Bush gets the right info on this case!

I don't know if I buy the story that the mope was unarmed. It's been a while since the initial incident but I think he was armed at one point. The US Attorney should have his/her citizenship revoked for prosecuting two brave men protecting our Country like that.

Pathetic!
