Description Of Incident: MVA, involving Sgt. Darrell Burris, Sgt & K9 officer of the Cold Spring Police Department. Sgt Burris died as a result of injuries sustained in this collision at Putnam Hospital. Sgt Burris was in his personal vehicle (SUV), off duty, driving on a two lane wet roadway when he became involved in a collision with two other vehicles. 29 Y/O Father & Toddler from second vehicle (SUV) transported to Danbury (CT) Hosptial, 19 Y/O male from third vehicle transported to Putnam Hospital.
