Description Of Incident: Ansonia PD receiving reports of smoke coming from stripmall building next to Sardo's Service Station. PD on location confirming working fire as Ansonia Fire Department is dispatched. Box 392 struck from the inside assigning Engine 3, Engine 6, Tower Ladder 7 and Squad 9 to the box, Ansonia Rescue Medical Service dispatched for an ambulance. Unit 301 (Co. 3 Captain) on scene reporting working fire in a 1 story strip mall, heavy smoke and fire from the roof. 301 special called Engine 4 and Derby Truck 15 to the scene. Car 22 on scene, now Main Street command, Car 25 is operations and Car 23 safety officer. Command requesting RIT unit from Derby, Derby Engine 13 assigned. ARMS officer requesting second ambulance and lighting unit to the scene. Incident under control within 20 minutes. Ansonia's FMO on scene investigating.
