Firefighter Shelter Deployment-California Wildfires

Some photos taken and made into a slide show with radio communications during the recent California wildfires wherein a group of firefighters were over run by the fire and had to deploy their personal shelter.

wow...those guys were lucky they had there shelter...i wonder, when they radioed for air support, were all air units pre-occupied doing other water drops...i would think 12 or 1 firefighter for that matter in danger where they have to deploy the shelter would get immediate air support...does someone have any ideas on that?
