Seattle's new Fireboat Leschi

Seattle Fire will be placing thier new 108-foot Fireboat Leschi into service shortly. The ship continues the recent trend of having shipboard command centers, medical facilities and an intergrated CBRNE system. The Leschi will throw 20,000 GPM (5,000 at each of the 4 pumps).

Delivered in April, crews have been training for the last 6 months with plans for the Leschi to cover the port side of the city. This would move the older Chief Seattle up into the freshwater shores after a retrofit.
