Putnam FD's Question

5 posts in this topic

i was looking at the pics x635 took of Carmel FD's, which are great looking rigs; but i viewed the rig numbers and realized i have no idea what they mean...

i see the rig 12-3-1 is fire police, 12-4-1 is a tanker and 12-2-4 is an engine...but what do those numbers actually mean??
