No matter how you slice and dice it, those numbers are way to many. We must read and understand reports such as this and change our methods as necessary to reduce those numbers.

I would love to have those numbers to be down to a minimum. As 1st responders we need to keep in mind that this job is dangerous and no matter what precautions we take accidents are bound to happen. We just need to keep our training current and our minds sharp. God Bless all that have lost someone in the LOD.

2 stats stick out 61 and over and responding Its time to make these stats go away. Driveing to and from alarm can be controled.

The other it's time to let our older firefighters sit back and relax let the younger firefighters do the work.

SAD NEWS!!!! As I looked today on how many death for the year 2007, I notice that we did not beat it once again under 100LODD. We are at 101LODD as of 10-27-07, Hope we can still keep it down and hope for the next year in 2008 to keep in way below 100.

Well, it would be nice for 2008, if there were no lodd at all. Like I said before, even one is to many.
