Scarsdale apparatus question

does anyone know what Scarsdale F.D. operates as far as trucks, engines, rescues, chiefs cars, utilities, boats and antiques go. any info. will be greatly appreciated. thanx, steve

As far as i know 3 engines a ladder and a mini rescue as a on duty officers car.

1 spare stick not staffed..

2432 the tour commanders car looks like a little rescue.

They must have pretty new equipment with all the $$ in Scarsdale. Anybody know what the have?

Check the link above. The tower is fairly new, as is one engine. The rest are older, one is a glider..engine and pump from a 1976 put on a new frame/body in 1991. I know Scarsdale is looking a writting a spec for some new apparatus. Just because Scarsdale has money, does not the FD gets it. The attitude there seems to be "sniff, sniff, I don't smell anything burning, why do you need new apparatus/firehouse/etc"

E54, E55, E56 - Primary Engines.

TL29 - Primary Truck.

E57, L28 - Spares.

2432 - Utility, Captain's Primary unit.

2433 - Spare.

U37 - Fire Investigation van.

TL29, E56, 2432 (duty capt. + 1FF) in HQ (sta 2) along with various dept vehicles 2433 spare, 2434 training capt, 2435 spare, 2436 Fire Insp., U37, and chief's 2431.

E55 (formely greenwich E4?) , L28 (spare truck) at crossway FH (sta 3).

E54, E57 (spare engine), E53 (vollie antique) at popham rd FH (sta 1).

New engine, truck, HQ, and parking structure????? are being spec'ed.

Is it true that bids have gone out twice on a new engine and truck with no success? Someone I know that works for an app. manufacturer says their committee is all messed up.
