Description: Original call for a 1-year old with difficulty breathing, Empress arrived to find the child in cardiac arrest. The child was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital and pronounced dead. Hispital staff observed numerous serious injuries all over the child's body, old and new. Detectives are detaining the child's father. ESU called to scene during the day to assist in evidence collection.
