The East Fishkill Fire District Humanitarian Committee is happy to invite you to our 3rd annual Firehouse cook-off!!

Chili, chowder & wings

When: September 29th, 2007

Where: East Fishkill Fire District Headquarters

2502 Route 52, Hopewell Junction

Time: 12 Noon to 5pm

$5.00 fee- try all the entries, vote and just enjoy yourself.

***The East Fishkill Fire District Humanitarian Committee was started to support those members who are injured or sick and need assistance. We Have also raised money for The Burn Center at Westchester Medical Center for medical equiptment and a Christmas party for the patients, as well as the Bell Chaise Fire Department in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina***

Just out of curiosity, I see a discrepancy in the phone numbers. One says 617, the other says 612.

Just curious which one is correct, or if they are both correct numbers, and different for a reason??

I highly recommend this event to everyone, the food is always great!!!!

This is the first year they have expanded past just Chili, and now offer the competition for chowder and wings as well.

Chili Registration Information

In addition, ALL PROCEEDS GO TO CHARITY!!!!

As mentioned above, previous recipients included the Belle Chaise FD in Louisiana, following hurricane Katrina, and the WMC Burn Center.

Many patients have been "adopted" by this committee, and they provide companionship with visits, and presents such as laptop computers, and toys, and many other things to brighten the days of patients of ALL ages in the Burn Center.

Come out and spend a few bucks. There is always also a 50/50 with THOSE proceeds going to benefit the Humanitarian committee as well.

And one can always just feel free to donate regardless of the event, there are donation collections accepted. This is really a great cause than helps a lot of people.

And the food ain't half bad either!

I mean, for $5 all you can eat Chili, Chowder, and Wings????

I'm buyin' stock in Mylanta and Pepto Bismol, and Beano now!!!!!
