Description: Two officers from the 71st PCT stopped a BMW X5 for bad plates. Upon walking up to the car, the driver and passenger began shooting at the officers. P.O. Russell Timoshenko, 23, was struck in the face and neck and is in "extremely critical" condition at Kings County Hospital. P.O. Herman Yan, 26, returned fired, called for help and was shot in the chest and arm. The suspects fled and dumped the vehicle at Kingston X Lefferts. A level 3 Mobilization was called. Suspects are still at large.
