Location: 145-A Rt 39, New Fairfield,CT (IAO Candlewood Knolls)

Units Operating:  New Fairfield FD, M/A-Putnam Lake Eng+Tanker , Sherman Tanker

Description Of Incident:  Caller from P/D reports porch on fire. I/C on arrival reporting fully involved structure

Chiefs: Car 1, Car 31 (Squantz AC), Car 41 (Ball Pond AC), Car 51 (AC of EMS), FM1 (Fire Marshal)

Ambulances: Company A (rehab), Squantz (townwide S/B), Medic 1 (Flycar)

Fire Police: Multiple units

Public Works: Truck 4 (Fuel)

Connecticut State Police (Patrol Officer assisted investigation)

Putnam Lake: 23-2-4 (Engine,) 23-4-1 (Tanker,) 23-6-1 (Ambulance)

Sherman: Tanker

Germantown (Danbury): Engine/Tanker 10, Engine/Truck 10 [Covered calls in New Fairfield]

2 story wood frame, fully involved upon arrival, all occupants out of the building. Command ordered a defensive (exterior) attack. 4 handlines stretched and I/O. Water supply set up at Candlewood Isle causeway.

Just a quick correction - Putnam Lake Ambulance 23-7-1

23-6-1 is a Rescue Truck

No, the first engine seemed like it was running low on fuel and we where not sure if it was a true reading or because of the steep slope of the driveway was throwing off the gauge. As a precaution we decided to get the town fuel truck to fill up the rig.
