CHP LODD-Officer Robert F. Dickey

On Sunday, June 10th, CHP Officer Robert F. Dickey of the Winterhaven's CHP office was killed when his patrol car rolled while driving on westbound I8 west of Winterhaven. It appears that a tire on the car's left side blew, causing the rollover.

Officer Dickey was conscious and speaking at the scene. After being extricated, he was flown to Yuma Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
