Any one know of any police supply stores in the area with decent prices? The only one that I really know of is New England Sportswear.

Might be a bit of a hike for you, but 911 Uniforms in the City of Poughkeepsie has allot of really nice stuff. Was there today, for the first time to get fitted for a uniform, the lady was very helpful. Its on the 300 block of Main Street in the City of Poughkeepsie a block or two from M&M Army and Navy.

F&J is really good, but a hike. American Gun and Uniform on 119 in Greenburg/Elmsford. Hard to spot, on the second floor of a building, right on the corner up fromt he post office or a bank.

I'd second Pauls in the BX. Very helpfull staff as well, but like most othe places you are going to pay more than in the catalogs.

KVI Uniform is the Town of Wallkill and Alfi's in the Town of New Windsor.......................and the all time biggest supplier...............Some's Uniforms in NJ. They do almost the entire County of Rockland

Havent been to Brothers in years, but I remember they used to smoke in there, so everything you bought was brand new and smelled like you were in a bar all night, before the smoking ban that is.

BROTHERS and OLINVILLE are by far the best prices. Depends on what you are looking for though. BROTHERS has mostly PD stuff, and limited FDNY or FD EMS stuff.

UNIFORMS BY PARK, in Brooklyn too has good prices and sews on patches and alterations while you wait, like Brothers.

I used to go to Paul's but found their pants and shirts fell apart quicker.

Anyone remember the FINEST and BRAVEST in the Bronx? Roz had a huge selection of PD and FD stuff and the best prices anywhere.
