Fire Fighter 1 Written/Practical Exams

Designed for: All fire service personnel

Prerequisites:

1. Hazardous Material First Responder Operation

2. First Aid and CPR

3. and One of the following Options:

3.1 Fire Fighter 1

3.2 Basic and Intermediate Firefighter

3.3 Firefighting Essentials, Initial Fire Attack, Firefighter Safety & survival and Fire Behaviors & Arson Awareness

Students MUST complete and submit the National Certification Examination Application in order to sit for the exam. Further instruction can be found on the applications Form

Pre-registration is mandatory. Please contact your Chief or Training Officer who will sign you up online at our website at www.westchestergov.com/emergserv or submit a Firefighter/Student Registration form and authorize your attendance. All attendees must have written permission from their Chief. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
