Description Of Incident: Reported as an unknown fire behind 56 Bethmour Road, Unknown if major brush or structure fire, heavy smoke and flames showing by callers. Bethany FD arrived on scene trying to locate fire, find 2 story colonial 30 by 80 off Pine Brook Crossing, 1/2 mile off road fully involved. Defensive mode established with multiple fill points and drafting from ponds in area. Fire suppression efforts hampered by ammunition explosions from structure. Home owner arrested by CSP Troop I troopers for interference with operations. Multiple small brush fires and hot spots caused by main fire. Reported two patients for evaluation

Bethany fire HQ covered by Prospect Tanker 4 and Hamden Engines 9 & 7

Ansonia Engine 6 covered Seymour Citizens Engine Co. 2 since both E-11 & E-13 from this station were at scene.

Hamden Fire rehab unit special called to scene
