Nice house.

Yeah, what was the deal with that? Why were they demolishing it? It seems like it had a lot of character, and was in decent condition for restoration. Like other live burn drills, was it some rich people from the city who don't appreciate stuff like that?

The neighbor bought it to demolish to build a Horse Paddock. Must be nice to have money to do that. There is a pool, pool house and cabana behind it that he was keeping, so they were "off limits". There were some excellent evolutions, the rope escape from the second floor window and the rescue of a FF through the hole in the floor. All in all, it was an excellent drill. Speaking with one of the brothers, when I asked him if he got to work with the rope, he said that it was a real confidence Builder for him. hearing that proves the value in these drills. I sent some pics to Seth, Hopefully he can post some of them.

Here's a link to Photobucket with a few of the pictures I took:

that was a nice house. i don't know why anyone would want to demolish it, but i guess it must be nice to have money to do that. but i guess in the end it worked out good because the surrounding fire depts got a great drill outta it.
