anyone know why a chopper ( that looks like the new county air 1), has been hovering over the areas of bradhurst ave and the taconic pky in hawthorne?? they've been hovering in this area for a few hours this afternoon.

It was Air TWO and because we wanted to!!!

Actually we were testing microwave downlink equipment with units at the Traffic Management Center. They were viewing video being shot from the helicopter in a regular patrol vehicle, command post vehicle, and eventually they'll be able to watch from the EOC in the TMC directly.

Cool toys, good weather, why not fly????

What do they have to do to keep you guys from just flying all the time? Nice day like yesterday they'd have to hide the bird from me.

If a guy were to happen by with tanker of say JP-4. Is there a chance a ride could be worked out? I know a guy who knows a guy who may know someone who can get certain things.
