Westchester Battalion Chiefs Vehicles

I see that on this website there are hundreds of picutres of emergency vehicles on scene, but I never have seen a Westchester County Battalion car. For example, when Battatlion 13 is coordinating mutual aid in Lewisboro, do they arrive in a special DES car? Are they cheifs of other departments but are also the mutual aid coordinators? What do these guys drive and are they members of fire departments?

Its my understanding the battalion's are essentially resource coordinators (IE M/A, special calls for unique apparatus, etc). Funny thing is, I've seen a red SUV with gold leaf striping that said Westchester County DES on it driving around port chester/rye brook a few times - and figured this was a battalion chief or whatever, guess i was wrong
