The Putnam County EMS Council Annual EMS Awards Dinner was held this evening at the Putnam National Golf Club. The following awards were given out.

BLS provider of the Year: Mary Francis McCarthy-Carmel VAC & Lake Carmel VFD

ALS Provider of the Year: Todd Van Buren-Empire ALS

EMS Communications Specialist of the Year: Cindy Nichols-Putnam 911 Shift Supervisor

Registered Profesional Nurse of Excellance: Peter McDonald-Putnam Hospital Center

EMS Leadership Award: David Jacobsen-Captain Carmel VAC

EMS Agency of the Year: Carmel VAC

EMS Life Saving Awards were also presented to members of various agencies. It was a wonderful night.

....and I remember Peter when he was a kid and his father used to bring him to work at FDMV Engine 4.
