1936hrs- B-1 rpts fire in floor below a commercial oven. Exp. 1- Street, Exp. 2 4-story OMD w/5ft alley, Exp. 3- rear yard; Exp. 4- 4 story OMD attached. Signal 10-30.

1940hrs- B-1 rpts. prolonged ops. E-311 to relocate to Sta. 1. Mask Service Unit responding.

I was on scene, and it was a great stop. There was Major Exposure Problems. Fire was started in the bakery on the 1st floor. The floor under a very large oven caught fire. In order to fight the fire, Firemen had to pull ceilings from the basement, and cut out the joists and hose down the fire. So a very large Overhaul assignment. E-303 layed into L74. L-74 performed Arial ops by placing the ladder against exposure 2. Ladder 71 was also up above the initial fire building. E-306 was 1st due, Laying into L-71, and performing an interior attack.
