What Model Mack Chasis Is This?

Greenburgh DPW operates a variety of different Mack chasisied trucks.

Among them are these that they operate several of. I'm under the impression that they are 4x4. Is this an "R" series cab and chasis?

If I remember right they were late 80's DMM Mack. They were not very popular. O+G Const.CO Had A couple that had dual steering axels up front.The reason was for the axel to weight ratio. The did not steer well. Most were powered by 237-5 speed not very fast either

It's a U model. U models had the cab offset to the left. R models don't.

can't tell without the serial #. DM(Dumper/Mixer) models can be offset but also come in the R configuration. U's are all offset.
