Thanks for telling us before hand JBE. Just kidding I guess I dropped the ball on signing up for this one. How often do they give a dispatcher test, every 4 yrs like FDNY?

I'm pretty sure I gave advance notice. This is the first test in a few years. I'm not sure how long. It also got pushed back a few times. It was originally supposed to be October of last year, then November, then February, and now, Saturday.

The city gives a test depending on our manpower needs. We've hired somewhere in the neighborhood of over 70 provisionals in the past two years, so a new test was needed. OT for dispatchers has dropped. They've also made a few provisional Supervisors as well. So I'm lucky if I get any OT. The test for that is in its early stages of development.
