jetBlue's First Flight Out Of Westchester

5 posts in this topic

Well, yesterday I missed jetBlue's first flight out of Westchester to Orlando, that I really wanted to be oon. I've always wanted to fly a jetBlue inaugral flight, and I've always wanted to fly out of HPN, but unforunetly circumstances overuled. I would have at least liked to have gotten some photos.

I wonder which plane it was?

Does anyone else know what jetBlue did to commemerate this occasion? Did they bring the "jetBlue" experience trailer? Free ballons? Anything?

The plane was an Airbus 320 and it is much larger than almost any of the other aircraft that use the airport presently. I guess the jetways don't reach and they need a two level set of steps to reach it.

Big freakin' plane!

Not so. They fly Embraer ERJ 190's as well. A smaller plane and the one that I thought would have been out of Westchester.

BTW - When the first Jet Blue flight from HPN landed at MCO, the airport crash trucks provided a water salute to the A-320 aircraft landing on it's inaugural flight.
