When a Fire Engine is delayed in traffic 40 seconds people say:

"It took them 20 minutes to get here"

When a Fire Engine races by at 40 MPH lights and sirens wailing:

"Look at those crazy fools"

When four Firefighters struggle with an eight man ladder:

"They don't know how to raise the ladder"

When Firefighters have to break windows to ventilate a fire:

"Look at the wrecking crew"

When Firefighters open up a wall to get at a blaze:

"Here comes the axe squad"

If a Fire Chief stands back to direct his fellow Firefighters:

"He's afraid to go where he directs his men"

If Firefighters lose the building:

"It's a lousy fire department"

If a lot of water was needed to put out the fire:

It's all true, but I'm with partyrock on this one too.

Look at the cops! NYC in the past couple of day's: 2 have been killed, another was shot and yet another was stabbed in the head so hard the knife punctured his temple. Still, 4 of them are on trial for defending themselves in Queens.

I'll take a firefighters troubles anyday.....

I've always liked that saying...but then again for some of us who've been around for a while can also twist it...

When they going wizzing by doing 45 and almost wreck.
