Digital Rebel Gear

3 posts in this topic

I know many out there have purchased the Digital Rebel. So I would like to take a look at what everyone has with it. As well as any tricks they have for the camera.

Ok here is my list.

Digital Rebel

EP-EX15. Eye piece extender

BG-E1. Battery Grip, Holds two batteries and gives you vertical controls. Also makes it much better to hold and balance.

2 extra batteries from Ebay. Real cheap work great.

1gb Microdrive. Holds about 330 photos.

Kit Lens 18-55

EW-60C. Lens hood for the kit lens

Cokin UV Filter. Protect your lens

Tiffen Circular Polarizer. Takes the glare off things like glass and water. Very cool thing to have, use it alot with rig shots.

Zoom Lens 70-210

Cokin UV Filter. Protect your lens

Speedlite 420ex

Bantam Battery from Quantum.

Cable for the 420ex. Cable was way too short, needed to rebuild it and make it longer.

Tamrac System 6 bag.

Manfrotto 728B. Very sturdy, comes with it's own case.

Remote Shutter trigger. Home Made.

Radio Shack25-936 CF to PCMCIA. $10 and can hold the microdrive. Not all the adapaters can take a microdrive.

Spare 256mb CF Card

8 spare AA Batteries

Silicagel Pack things. Helps take moisture out of your bag.

Notepad Pens, Markers

Lens cleaning kit with blower.

And of course

Laptop with GPS. Also can be used to download CF cards. Wireless internet to send photos.

Some good Scanners.
