Photo Upload Size Increased

8 posts in this topic

To all VERIFIED MEMBERS:

We have increased the amount of space per post that you have to upload photos.

What does this mean? You can upload AND POST more and bigger photos in each post.

(Although we do ask you keep photos/reduce your photo size to a 600x400 maximum per photo or so we don't have to scroll through a huge photo and to conserve bandwith)

You can try to edit them in paint. Thats what I do. I reduce the picture in paint then rename it. Seems to work out just fine. When your in paint click image then you'll see Horizontal% and vertical% just start to reduce your photo untill you get it where you want it then you can upload them. I'm sure there are other ways but this is what I do. Hope this helps.

Yeah, now I got it down to a science...put a few images in the incident workshop section of Buchanan Fire. Using Nero Snap Editor Software.

It's possible that the image size is too large, which is the most common problem. What is the size of the file you are trying to upload?

Also, email it to me at EMTBravo@EMTBravo.com, and I'll try uploading to see what the issue may be.

You should have them, they were pics from the Somers fire. I am on a different computer and different server so I will try uploading them today. Do all images have to have a url or is there another way to put them on?

No. Photos can be directly uploaded to EMTBravo.

I will post a tutorial in the coming weeks- or if a member wants to do one for me, it would be greatly appreciated.
