I'll assume you are talking about the St Patrick's Day Parade in Manhattan on the 17th. In that case there are no fire apparatus in the parade. In fact there are no motorized apparatus of any type in the parade. You might get some pictures of the mobile command post outside St Patrick's Catherdal or some SOC parked around the Catherdal or Rockefeller Center but usually more NYPD units to be found then FDNY.

If you happen to see any FDNY or hospital ambulances down there and get an opportunity to take some photos I would like to see them. Thanks.

The only pictures you are going to get of any rigs are going to be on the side streets on the parade route if you are lucky enough. You will be able to get plenty of pictures of happy fireman. LOL

there are usually some apparatus up at 5th ave and Central park. both sides of the street . Its also a nice place to hang out and watch the parade from. west side of the street is usually sunny.

Come on, you never saw the St. Pat's Parade on Television? FYI, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day has some really huge balloons, shaped like popular cartoon characters!
