As a State Fire Instructor ALL Fire Chiefs, Line Officers, Safety Officers, Firefighters, should look at this link very very closely. It is extreamly important that EVERYONE in the Fire Service understand what can happen, when things go wrong.

Accidents can and will continue to happen we cant control everything, BUT we can be proactive. Educate your selves, learn the current trends in training, elect the best personel for the job or position.

I gotta say this I dont mean to offend any one or any body but guess what!! did we as a fire service learn fome this---NO after this incident happened and while the Chief was being arrested and brought up on criminal charges--WE still used live victims.

There had to be legislation introduced in Albany to make it a crime to have live people as victimes in training exercies.
