1330hrs- Numerous calls of heavy smoke in the area/coming from the structure at 17 crest avenue

1334hrs- New Rochelle Police on scene confirming working fire, heavy smoke condition

1338hrs- 2302 reporting all co's working, 1 L/S/O

1345hrs- 2302 requesting L-11 to the scene, E-25 to cover STA-3, and 1 and 1 from Mount Vernon to cover STA-1

1355hrs- 2302 advising fire K/D all co's checking for extension, still a heavy smoke condition

Address was actually 17 Kress Avenue.

Yonkers L70 was also dispatched under mutual aid for New Rochelle Station 3 coverage with E25, but was returned by 2302.

Mount Vernon E204 and L62 were at New Rochelle Station 1 for coverage.

There was a considerable amount of damage...10 occupants needed assistance from the Red Cross concerning a place to stay for the night (possibly longer).

In terms of injuries, 1 or more firefighters were injured, but none were transported from the scene.
