2315hrs-Hillcrest FD (Dept. 6) dispatched to the above address for the reported mattress fire. 6-1 in service. 44-Control advising fire caused by resident falling asleep in bed while smoking. 44-Control also advising that there is a hydrant o.o.s. on Skyline Terrace.

2321hrs-6-1 requesting Stat-Flight be placed on s/b.

2326hrs-6-1 requesting launch of Stat-Flight as per EMS. LZ will be at local elementary school.

2327hrs-44-Control inquiring if 6-1 would like additional tones for a seperate incident. 6-1 advising that 6-Rescue will respond as the ground contact.

2332hrs-As per Skyline Terrace Command, Signal-11 (u/c) transmitted.

2333hrs-6-11 establishing LZ command.

2336hrs-44-Control advising 6-11 that Stat-Flight has a (7) minute eta.
