Description Of Incident: 2 car MVA with 1 PT heavily Entraped

'97 Toyota Rav 4 rear-ended into tree by a VW GTI (later model), Pt in Toyota heavily entrapped with serious injuries.

19:30 - 1st Dispatch for Pleasant Valley to respond Priority 1 for a 2 car MVA

UPDATE

Numerous call backs report heavy entrapment, and 1 Pt critical

19:31 - 56-55,72 Responding

19:34 - 56-2 on scene

Confirmed heavy entrapment with 1 Critical Pt

19:36 - 56-55,72 on scene

20:05 - Pt Extricated

56-72 TXP 1 Code 99 to ST Francis Hospital (Poughkeepsie)

Some time soon after Extrication was complete 56-2 contacts County 911 on Command(3) and request another ALS unit for a man down. Alamo 5 responds. CPR would be in progress on a by-stander that was attempting to photograph the scene.Pt collapsed all of a sudden. CPR was in progress and Pt was revived and TXP ALS with Alamo Medic 5 on Board Roosevelt 63-71. Driver of VW was a RMA.
