Non-White Plains residents might as well not apply either! They're another city pretty strict about preference to residents - I understand they go through the whole city resident list before considering the non-resident list.

Last time they were hold the same time - I'd suggest reserving that date in June for testing

white plains still has a pretty strict background invest as well as requirements that must be met before being appointed, psych test, criminal invest to mention a few!

ehh why not? Only thing your loosing in 25 bucks, it's worth the practice effort.

If the county is scheduled for a test ,it would be for the same day as white plains.

when i took the county exam how ever many years ago (4?), the county exam was the same as some depts. (such as white plains) and the dutchess county exam.

just before they hand the exam out, they give you a piece of paper with a bunch of other exams on it, and you just check off the ones you applied for, and if the exam you are takin that day covers those depts., well than you're good to go.

you're pretty much taking 3 or 4 exams in one!
