looking for a mechanic

My car needs work...the stupid thing is leaking something( not quite sure if it is brake fluid or power steering fluid). It is a slow leak, but I want to take care of it before it becomes a big problem, as it is leaking near the catalytic conveter. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in the Patterson, Carmel, Brewster area? Or anyone one to avoid? Thanks in advance.

at all cost avoid CARS in Sleepy Hollow he is a major ripoff fixed an oil leaf on our ambulance by stuffing a rag into it then charged almost 1000 dollars.
