New Danbury(CT) Eng. 22 goes into service

This afternoon, 12 December 2006, the new Engine 22 went into service for the City of Danbury Fire Department. Double Deuce is a 2006 Pierce Dash and is equiped with 2- inch & half pre-connects, 1- two and half preconnect, 1- front bumper trash line, 3 inch and 5 inch supply line, Hurst Hydraulic rams, spreader, and cutters, Vetter air bags with Hurst control unit, a hotel pack mounted on front bumper, and EMS equipment. Engine 22 responds first due to a portion of the City in the downtown area, and is second due to a great portion of the City. X635 has a full picture of 22 prior to delivery on his site.

Thanks! Yeah I hope the driver just forgot to flip a switch or hit the master warning switch not knowing that one was turned off.....It wouldnt look good for a brand new engine to be defective. I am sure though that our mechanic went over everything.
