Westchester Training With FDNY?

Today, I noticed a Hartsdale engine and possibly White Plains and other Westchester departments? in the Bronx, apparently drilling with FDNY.

Anyone know anything about this?

units included WCDES Comms van, Yonkers, Greenville, Hartsdale, Fairview, Mount Vernon, White Plains, New Rochelle, Eastchester - went to 3 locations in the Bronx for multi-unit drill after leaving Ridge Hill staging area - NYSOFPC was on hand to do credentialing

Yes it was Hartsdale Eng 170, Fairview Eng 175, White Plains Eng 66, L-32, and Scarsdale Tl-29 training with FDNY Eng 72/ sat-2, Eng 89, and TL-50 at their quarters and at the Whitestone movie theater, along with field comm. and county car 2.

this was part of a large Westchester / FDNY drill on relocations and various hydrants, standpipes, box alarms ,adapters, how the city operates, this was designed to help prepare interoperability incase of another large scale incident that requires Westchester County Units to relocate to FDNY.

Also note that Greenville Eng 150, Eastchester Eng 31, Yonkers engine and truck spares i believe and Mt. Vernon Truck 1 (the new tower) were operating in the Bronx with other companies.
