Ford Crown Victoria Station Wagon?

11 posts in this topic

Although I'm pretty sure this is a custom job (?), I never knew Ford made a Crown Victoria Station wagon (at least for that era of Crown Vics).

I see this every now and again around Hartsdale. This photo was taken by me on 11-30-06

Maybe Ford makes them for the funeral business, such as a hearse.

Nah, looks more like a Taurus wagon than an Escort. Definitely a custom job, albeit a somewhat strange one.

If Ford had made a wagon like that from the factory they probably would have sold a bunch of them!

If you take a close look at the lines around the rear passenger door, you can see that this is definitely a custom job.

That is an interesting Car. I do wonder what it's used for/who had the money for a couple thousand dollars to do the custom job. BTW, I recognize the curvature of the windows as that of a Taurus. The Crown Vic though is from '95-'97, based on the taillights. Where in Hartsdale does that car pop up, I'd like to see it myself. You should send that photo to stationwagon.com, if they still exist.

You're right, took below the rear window, looks like the lines where the truck rounds up. I used to own a Mercury Grand Marquis so I know the style. Definitely custom job job
