MTA Police- Which Is It?

4 posts in this topic

OK, so I see MTA PD cars, new and old, in both grey and white schemes. All with the same striping.

At first, I thought they were switching to grey cars. But then, I saw this brand new car in New Haven recently.

Why are some grey, and some white?

The older ones were gray....the 2006? cars are back to white.

Hate those wheels, BTW.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Hubcaps on a RMP?

I don't like the white as much, I liked the grey....matched the trains.

Steel wheels all the way.

Grey looked really sharp...but in the old saying, you can have any Ford you want as long as its white. Since Chevy did away with the greatest police car ever made, the Caprice, Ford gets all the business and can't keep up, and white paint means the quickest delivery times.
