City co.'s dispatched for a reported house fire w/ people trapped, Bay & Ellison. Disp. advised responding units of children trapped on the second floor and people on the roof.

Quint 7 arrived first reporting heavy smoke & fire on the first floor of a 2 1/2 w/ people trapped on the 2nd floor, they'll be putting up ladders trying to make the rescue.

Democrat & Chronicle is reporting that several children had to to jump from the 2nd floor, however three children did die on the 2nd floor. Multiple FF's had to bail out from the 2nd floor and three FF's did receive 2nd degree burns attempting the rescue.
