Units Operating: 4th PCT, ESU Truck 4, Truck 2, Truck 3, ESU Sgt.

Description Of Incident: Male shot to the lower back on Morningside Ave transported to Jacobi by Empress. Suspect fled on foot and chased by 4th PCT officers into 145 Ridge Ave. Suspect barricaded in a 3rd floor apartment. ESU made entry, recovering (1) suspect, with multiple stab wounds from earlier unrelated incident. Suspect transported to WCMC by Empress. Crime scenes set up at both locations. Weapon later recovered.
