MAKE SURE THE NOZZLEMAN HAS ENOUGH HOSE

BE RIGHT ON THE BACK OF THE NOZZLEMAN

1. SO IF HE NEEDS TO TELL YOU SOMETHING YOU CAN HEAR HIM

2. TAKE THE BACKPRESSURE OFF THE LINE SO THE NOZZLEMAN CAN DO HIS JOB

#3. Look at the big picture. The nozzleman may be focuses on where he is directing his stream, you need to keep an eye out of conditions around you and where the nozzleman may need to direct his stream.

I can't stress enough Bobby's #2. Seeing way too many back up personnel "holding" the hose instead of trying to take off the back pressure so the nozzleman can effectively do his/her function.
