Ossining X-Ladder 41 To Serve As Ladder 31?

The former Senate Hook & Ladder Ossining FD a 1963 Maxim Aerial was driven to Port Chester HARRY HOWARD possibly to be used by PCFD ,, while Ladder 31 is tested and checked for repairs.

The Chiefs of OFD and Port Chester are discussing the deal.

Ex- L41 will be working in Port Chester somtime next Mon or Tues.

Will be Ladder tested tomm. ( Fri.) Need to install a radio and siren. L-31 O.O.S. till further notice due to ladder testing failure 2 weeks ago. Up in the air in what the village is going to do now since they knew about this since last year. As usual village has no money either.. Were looking at all options now.. Fixing the ladder, New tiller, Rear-mount, getting an old FDNY tiller and refurbishing it.. should be interesting.. will keep you all posted.

L-31 has been serving Port chester for the past few weeks as the second due truck. Unsure for how much longer it will be needed.

The Ossining Ladder is still in use in PC, The ladder from the PC seagrave is in Wisconsin being rebuilt.
