Cool Firehouse Kitchen Floor

Los Angeles City Fire Station 60 recently installed a new tile floor in the station's kitchen area. The floor now features a beautiful mosiac created by DalTile. The floor design and installation was done by Gallagher Flooring and Interiors of Ventura, Ca.

From what I understand, there was a great level of detail that made doing this job quite tricky. It took a lot of talent, and it's very unique.

It's kind of like the tile mosaics in the NYC subways. It's a lost art form.
