Amazing- a predicted wind storm which came through around 1430 today,nothing major but the results= Engine companys tied up on wires down with no CON EDISON! Good thing they met last month to resolve the problems.

In all fairness to Con ED, they're run no different than anyother agency, like most of our inadequately staffed FDs.. Due to their own drastic budget cuts years ago, they too no longer have an adequate number of personnel to handle the high volume of storm or any type of harsh weather related emergencies. That's the fact guys, so just tape and run.
