NY State Assoc of Fire Chiefs Seminar

Next Wed. 10/18 NYSAFC will be presenting a seminar featuring Battalion Chief John Salka, FDNY at the Rockland County Fire Training Center. Seminar will be on Fireground Responsibility. I have been to several of these the past couple of years and they are worth it. I attended a seminar by Chief Salka many years ago and he gives a great presentation. Absolutely agree. Chief Salka is a great guy. Had the pleasure of doing a ride along when he was a Captain in the bronx. Also attended his Get Out Alive presentation in Albany before the Firefighter Survial course he helped design.

I'm sure it will be well worth attending.

went to a class of his last weekend on fireground orientation and RIT. it was a really good experience. Chief Salka is a very good speaker and is very knowledgable. some senior guys in my department even learned a couple things. i personally learned a lot. i'm sure it'll be a good seminar.
