Description Of Incident: Radio call of a black male in front of the above location with a handgun in his waistband. 3rd pct R/C 303 upon arrival, observe several people in front of the building and upon seeing police, several male blacks run into 80 School Street. Pursuing officers observe one suspect pull out a silver and black handgun from his waistband and continue to run into the stairwell. 2 Suspects were lost on second floor, while others fled up into the building upper floors. Housing units and ESU trucks 2 & 4 on scene, conducting searches. A short time later, 2 Suspects were found hiding inside a 2nd floor apartment that they had broken into, by ESU and Housing Units. Both suspects 16 yrs old positively identified by 3rd pct units. A loaded and cocked 40 calibre handgun was recovered by ESU along with a discarded jacket and felony weight narcotics.
