Driving by BMFD HQ this morning I saw their new Utility on the ramp. Looks very similar to the County issued Squad Support Units-Ford MiniBuses.

What function(s) will this unit provide for BMFD? And where will it be stationed?

U62 will be used as a support/rehab unit. It will primaraly be stocked with ems supplies and will be used to tow the MDU Trailer & the Pub Ed Trailer. All but 6 seats have been removed from the bus and shelving has been installed.

The vehicle will be kept in the parking lot of the Scarborough substation (E92) along with the trailers.

It will be last due to any major fire incidents and first due to any MCI/HazMat incidents. I'll try and get some pics this week and send them in to Seth.
